Smells and music. These are two divine gifts that affect each of us, making our life saturated with a rich palette of emotions. Who is the individual who conceived and implemented a project combining aroma and music? And how in the life of one person do these two kingdoms intertwine?
Fjodor Elesin. And undoubtedly, talent and imagination. Awarded the title “King of the cello”, Fjodor received his formal training under the auspices of the legendary cellist Mstislav Rostropovich, and by the age of 13, had already performed with the State Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg as a soloist. Further studies at the Hamburg Higher School of Music and Theater and the International Institute of Chamber Music with professors such as Ralph Gotoni, Bruno Canino and Menachem Presler, led to performances in prestigious concert halls including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and St. Martin in the Fields in London, among others.
Everything that this gifted musician does comes truly from the heart. Today, in addition to his busy performing schedule, he successfully organizes his own festivals and music competitions, inviting many of the the greatest musicians of our time to give masterclasses. Out of gratitude for the knowledge and assistance he received from the great mentors who helped shape him as a musician, Fjodor Elesin has dedicated himself to giving back. It is this desire that led him to found the Flair de Muse Foundation, whose purpose is to give support to today’s gifted young musicians, promote the growth and development of unique talents and projects, and participate in educational projects that lead to the preservation and popularization of classical music.
Being capable of non-trivial sublime deeds, and having found the cross-section for his love of scent and music, Fjodor devoted his passion to creating an exquisite symphony of smells. Together with Uwe Herrich, court perfumer of the royal family of Liechtenstein, Fjodor brought together the finest essences to create the unique perfume, FLAIR DE MUSE, created to inspire a bright future for classical music. FLAIR DE MUSE, literally “Breath of the Muses” is a strong, noble aroma, full of seduction, sophistication, and charm, that is suitable for both demanding women and gallant men. Its extraordinary composition is created solely using rare natural ingredients, and is 100% free of aldehydes. Through the merging of two divine elements - music and scent - the perfume FLAIR DE MUSE is truly a symbol of classical music.
Due to the interest with which society meets the muses, Fjodor took the bold initiative to give FLAIR DE MUSE the world of music, sending all proceeds from the sale of perfume to the Flair de Muse Foundation.
